Fast-rising singer, Yusuf Adekoya Adegboyega popularly known as Lineo was one of the class acts at the first edition of Industry Nite last week at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
It was a gathering of stakeholders in the showbiz and entertainment industry as the event which is a regular monthly affair in Lagos makes its way into the FCT.
Performing among big names such as celebrated Chocolate City music producer, Jesse Jagz, the new act who is also know the Elepepe Master ignited the fans with his newly introduced style of music, Funky High.
Sponsored by Spinlet, an online music distribution platform, Lineo’s new single entitled “Funky High” is already making waves on the music distribution platform.
The Dengit House signed artiste only recently returned from a US Tour where he performed at the House Music Festival in Maimi, Florida alongside South African sensation, Liquid Deep.
It would be recalled that Lineo has had successful collaborations with Tuface and late Dagrin.
Meanwhile, the Ogun State-born singer’s new single, “Funky High” has continued to generate a buzz.
“Funky High is a song that is dear to me. It is a complete deviation from the regular Nigerian contemporary hip hop. It is new, it is fresh and above all, it is fun! It’s a song my team strongly believes would open a new chapter in Nigerian music,” he explained.
